Hive is a brilliant system which allows direct booking access to freelancers. There are many useful features within the system, such as tracking freelancers availability and specific freelancer preferences based on particular shows and previous bookings. The agency booking workflow is very efficient and gives us peace of mind that everyone is on the same page.

Rostering a 24/7 Operational team is always a challenge but Hive25 has given my users the ability to manage planned leave and sudden absence with ease. This has reduced the admin load on my teams and as an added benefit provides financial metrics for the month.

Due to the nature of our department, each member of staff has an individual skillset for what services they are looking after, this also applies to the freelancers. Hive 25’s strong point is that it gives us the chance to pick individual freelancers for individual tasks. Always assuring that the right freelancers is on the right bay.

Like most places late sickness and absence are our biggest challenge, so the fact that Hive 25 can give us quick responses once we put shift requests online is great and helps us maintain a full and highly skilled shift.

The calendar layout makes it easy for us to cross reference our rostering system with Hive 25 so that we don’t suffer any double booking or missed shifts. It also makes it easy for us to alter any bookings or for us to plan ahead. 

Overall Hive has been a really useful service for booking freelancers. The system is easy to use, and we tend to get responses quickly. We use it often for regular bookings, and are very happy with the freelancers in selection.
